PSI presents new software solutions at European Utility Week 2018

  • Network control of low and medium voltage networks
  • Charging of electrical vehicles for public transport and load management for integration into the power grid

Berlin, 2 November 2018 - From 6 to 8 November 2018, PSI will be presenting at the European Utility Week in Vienna (Hall 2, No. A.m46) new software solutions and developments in the fields of network control technology, network utilization and workforce management as well as intelligent technology for smart grids.

Among the highlights are the latest features of the PSIcontrol for efficient network operation at all network levels; furthermore, the "Security Assessment and System Optimization" (SASO) autopilot for secure network operation, including integrated Dynamic Security Assessment functionality with transient stability analysis, will be demonstrated; the SASO DSO 2.0 system solution increases security of supply through transparent, non-discriminatory access to the capacity market.

Mobile devices integrated with the field force management system PSIcommand support central and local personnel in maintenance, construction and fault clearance processes of all infrastructures, ensuring highly efficient and secure work.

In addition, PSI’s latest "Intelligent Grid Operator" system will be presented. The distributed solution offers active network management of low and medium voltage grids as well as for charging and load management for public transport and integration of electro mobility into the electrical grid.

Based on its own software products, PSI Group develops and integrates complete solutions for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy networks, energy trading, public transport) and industry (mining, metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,750 people worldwide.
