Mobile Systems

PSIcommand is also implemented for mobile equipment, known as PSIcmd-mobil.  Our mobile solution can be used on any platform (e. g. PDA, Tablet-PC, Handheld) equipped with one of the following operating systems:

  • LINUX
  • Windows
  • Windows CE
  • Symbian (Planning stage)

The mobile navigation system of PSIcommand was developed by PSI in-house.  It is optimally matched for use with our control systems.  For example, upon acceptance of an operation by the mobile unit, routing to the destination is automatically started.  Manual navigation via the touch screen is also possible.

If required, service personnel can request information relating to equipment (network objects) in the vicinity via the mobile system of PSIcommand.

In PSIcmd-mobil, features for incident feedback are central to increase quality and productivity within the incident report system.

Operations processing status is reported to the scheduling centre via the status information.  Here, an overview is constructed from this information which is available to all PSIcommand users.  The processing times can be calculated automatically based on status change times.  Without additional effort, high quality documentation is created which forms the basis for quality improvements in customer service, statistics and accounting.

The subject information of an incident response is entered via the response form and reported to the scheduling centre.  The response forms (as with information logging forms, reporting forms or incident forms) can be configured by authorised users.  Important information that cannot be reported back is now a thing of the past.

The mobile system of PSIcommand described above also runs on the CommBox of our subsidiary Nentec.  The CommBox is an on-board computer for installation in motor vehicles.  It was specifically designed for use in workforce management.
