Fault Clearance Management
The central task of fault clearance management in PSIcommand is to support the operators in acknowledging faults and determining the measures needed to be taken.
Operation scheduling can be done seconds after fault acknowledgement in emergencies (e.g. gas alarm). With clear graphic representations the operator always has a comprehensive view of the situation.
Essential characteristics of the fault clearance management within PSIcommand are:
- Optimised fault recording with automatic determination of the required actions
- Overview presentation through geographic visualisation of faults and other network states
- Interface to the telephone system to accept phone numbers
- Automatic responsibility determination based on area definitions and plant responsibilities
- Efficient optimised scheduling which takes into account suitability, availability as well as location of fault clearing units
- Reduction of disengaging times in emergencies
- Managing standby personnel
- Time monitoring of all alerts and important information from external systems
- Rapid access from vehicles and stationary workstations to all data necessary for fault clearance
- Continuous documentation of the whole event even on site
- Clearing of the fault event up to completion of documentation
- Immediate generation of follow-up orders and operations based on feedback reports in completed operationsInterface for maintenance (follow-up operations) and accounting (cost allocation, assessing mandatory cost tasks)
