Network Utilisation
With the PSIpassage systems, PSI provides network operators with innovative solutions for their tasks in the deregulated energy market. Optimum processing support is provided with the modular design and individually configurable systems both for transmission and distribution networks.
In the basic version of PSIpassageII-T for transmission network operators is a schedule management system for automatic processing of the balance group schedules according to the ETSO Scheduling System executing matching procedures with neighbouring control zones. This can be expanded with the following modules:
- Control Power Management (assignment of primary and secondary control power as well as allocation and request of minutes reserve power)
- Bottleneck Auction Management (managing auctions of transmission capacities during bottlenecks)
- Network Trading Management (management of network operator balance groups e.g. renewable energy balance groups, network loss balance groups)
PSIpassage-BKM is the balance group management system at the transmission network level. It allows the largely automated balance group billing according to the VDEW directive "Data exchange and quantity balancing" as well as billing of renewable energy and cogeneration power.
PSIpassageII-D provides distribution network operations with a tool for data and network utilisation management. This tool imports time series and other numeric data for aggregation and export to the respective trading partners in currently legislated formats. The basis for the aggregation is a current master data and contract data set. This is guaranteed via configurable interfaces to the billing system and via the completely implemented automated Supplier Change Process according to GPKE. Time-intensive routine processes are highly automated in all PSIpassage systems. The intelligent open system architecture allows fast implementation of new requirements.
