10 Years of PSI-Gateway Technology

Up to the mid-nineties, the business division PSIEnergie-EE utilised outsourced telecontrol technology for process interfaces.  When the costs for these devices increased substantially, PSI decided to develop our own telecontrol solutions in-house.  With our in-house telecontrol technology we can use modern and substantially more efficient technologies for our hardware solutions.

PSI completed the first generation of telecontrol interface solutions in 1998.  With the rapid developments in electronic components and the resulting price advantages, we were able to further development the functional capability of our telecontrol gateways.

PSI's family of high-quality telecontrol devices offers optimum solutions for a wide range of requirements.  With the components of this modular system, efficient and cost-effective interfaces can be configured for standard tasks.  The flexibility of this technology also allows the implementation of project-specific solutions.

More than 2000 PSI-Gateways were in operation by the beginning of 2008.
